Each pet portrait is tailored to reflect the personality and capture the spirit of your beloved animal. My portraits are painted in oil on canvas and range from traditional formats to those with a more contemporary look and feel.

Commissioning a Portrait

I work from photographs of your pet and can use an existing picture, or I prefer to photograph your dog myself, if geographically feasible. Doing so allows me to meet your dog or cat, talk to you about them and get a real idea of their personality traits, quirks and general character .

Prior to commencement, I like to confirm the photograph I will be using, as well as size, look and feel, time frame, delivery method, etc.  

My fee for a commissioned portrait is $1,500.00 for one animal, plus shipping.  Each additional animal in a portrait is 50% of total.

The average size is 16"x 20"  although I will try to accommodate any size request. Turnaround time is approximately 6 - 10 weeks.  A non-refundable 50% deposit is required.
